Kane due in court for perjury hearing

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) – Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane is due in court for the latest hearing on charges linked to her alleged leak of grand jury material. Kane is set for a preliminary hearing Tuesday afternoon in Montgomery County on perjury and obstruction charges. Prosecutors say she signed a secrecy oath when she took office in 2013, but then leaked prior grand jury material to a newspaper and lied about it. Kane denies wrongdoing.
